Chalkboard Themed Gifts

As promised in my last post, these are the projects/gifts I made to celebrate the end of the school year!  AKA - the best time of the year!  I didn't get to snap a picture of all the gifts (believe it not) as I was sick the final days of school.  I had denim gift bags and Mason jars wrapped in denim fill with candy.  I also gave some necklaces that are not pictured below.

What better way to end the school year with "chalkboard" related gifts for close staff and the kids!
For the teachers with classrooms I made doorknob hangers with their class and name.
For teachers, the principal and student services I made easels.
For the teacher I spent most time with the large sign.

For the third graders I bundled up some sidewalk chalk and attached a tag that
read: Let's chalk it up to an amazing year!"

I wanted to create something "crafty" for the art teacher since we work together
a couple times each week.  I found these crepe paper flower kits by
We R Memory Makers - they turned out adorable!

Two staff members are changing grade levels next year, so I made my
infamous signs for them to use next year.

Personalized Tote Bags I designed for the fifth grade teachers and for the
third grade teacher who's classrooms I worked in

For the students I work closely with in third grade received these cute
Avengers (boys) and Frozen (girls) LED watches

3 days down - only 67 more days off!!!!!

April and May

Today was the very LAST day of school - YIPPEE!!!!
I have the next 70 days off (not that I'm counting)!

Here's what's been happening lately.....

On April 19th we celebrated my mom's birthday.

I made these gift bags from scrapbook paper using my We R Memory Makers gift bag punch.
(They were filled with gift cards and candy).

I also made this paper straw wreath for above her bed.

We got a new washing machine and dryer
(Still trying to get used to the "non-agitator" style and the different sounds in makes.

We FINALLY purchased some new dressers for Ryan.
(He was using the same ones he has had since he was born!)

We chose the white because it shows less dust, matches the bench he has in his room already and the hardware matches his loft bed.

Here's my latest Skecher purchases.......yes!  I am starting to run out of space for my shoes!

....and how exciting to find these boots in the brown color
that I had been looking for - for months!
Now I have them in Black, Brown, Taupe and Gray!

I will post my end of the year gifts soon.
I went with a "chalkboard" theme!

Until then.....
