Ryan started to notice his eyes were having trouble focusing at times. After an eye exam, we were told that when reading something up close and then immediately looking further away, his eyes were straining. So, he got his first pair of glasses. The eye doctor said she feels that if he wears the glasses for the next 6-12 months his eyes may auto correct! With all the new hand-held devices, there seems to be a lot of people with the same issues.....I guess I know what my issue is now too! However, they say after a certain age, your eyes will no longer "auto-correct"!

It was time to get a new kitchen table, and we finally found one we liked....

I usually place a tablecloth on the table to protect the wood, however with the two-toned wood and etched nickle plate in the middle, I purchased a beveled piece of glass to place on top.....

I then decided I didn't like the curtains or our ceiling fan - so I removed the bottom tiers and purchased new valances that match the chair cushions and the Ivy pattern on the chairs and a new ceiling fan.
This picture was taken prior to removing the wallpaper border - still waiting on some samples to arrive - so far, I think it turned out nice!
