Summer Fever!

As of tonight - there are only 24 school days left!!  

Even though I've enjoyed the children I am working with this year, the thought of "freedom" for 2 1/2 months is always exciting! 

Not knowing which students or teachers you will be working with the upcoming school year does weigh on my mind, I'm trying to not worry about that ..........yet!

I decided it was time for some new gym shoes - even though I've got plenty of pairs of gym shoes, I wanted to try the new memory foam shoes!  I purchased some special edition Skechers in fun summer colors.

 and them some gray gym shoes made from sweatshirt material - with the memory foam

and these SUPER comfy pink and gray pair

 I wanted to make a gift for my Mom for Mother's Day and I found this idea on Pinterest.  It turned out so nice that I'm in the middle of making one for myself!

I also made this candle holder out of glass and vellum.  (Another Pinterest find)

I wanted an unique way of giving my Mom gift cards and saw this pinwheel while out shopping - I got the idea to attach a gift card to each petal and then use the candle holder as the base.

This is Ryan's last week of his Freshman year of college - hard to believe how fast this year went! Already a sophomore in college - how did that happen?????
