HAPPY FALL Y'ALL!

This is the first time EVER that I have the entire week off of Thanksgiving!  So, it's time to update the ole' blog!

Here's what's been happening since I've returned back to school from summer break!

My brother and sister-in-law offered to have a graduation party for Ryan!  He graduated on August 25th and will walk in the ceremony in December!

A couple days before the party I got sooooo sick! I could hardly talk and was so weak!  Setting up I nearly fainted!  But the party must go on!

I LOVE Rae Dunn's creations/designs and had purchased these plates before I knew we would be throwing a big bash!  I was able to locate some more plates and napkins and based the entire theme around the Rae Dunn Font!

Everything was labeled with a matching font

I needed a topper for the cupcake tower and saw this light fixture at Michaels and turned it into a graduation cap that fit perfectly on top of the tower!

Party Favors

Party Favors were in entryway!

Cupcake tower was in the dining room (Cupcakes from Mariano's was a hit!)
I didn't get pictures of the food because I was so sick I forgot to take pictures DURING the party!

Extra seating in the living room

Front porch decorations

Guests (the only pictures I took during the party!)

Gift Table

Ryan received many generous gifts.  He had been wanting a Nintendo Switch so I got him that and a game.  In the cup rolled up is his tuition bill from College of DuPage and Lewis University showing the total amount PAID IN FULL!

We FINALLY got a new mailbox.  I wanted something different and when I saw this faux stone post I knew I had to have it!  We have had the same cedar mailbox since we moved in and it was getting rickety - I love the new look!
(The street has been blacked out for internet reasons)

I added solar lighting to both sides.
(Pictures were taken prior to applying address sticker)

October brought my dad's birthday and Halloween!

Halloween Gifts for colleagues at school, Ryan and Angie

I had a list of things I wanted to accomplish - clean the carpets, clean out closets, and replace vanities/faucets/fixtures in both bathrooms!  I ended up finishing things off the list early and on the first day of break, we tackled the bathrooms!

I found these vanities online thru Home Depot: and then decided to purchase the matching mirror:

This is the finished product of the Hall Bathroom (Girls Bathroom)

and believe it or not.....I've begun wrapping Christmas gifts!

After fall break we will go back to school for three weeks and get another 2 weeks off!
 THANKFUL FOR MY JOB CALENDAR!
